It was heavily sponsored in 1995 and re-aired in 2015.

Two different variants of the grandfather's cup are currently being produced. One is that & # 8220classica & # 8221 with coffee, much sweetened compared to previous decades, to which the cappuccino variant has been added since 2004, which also contains milk ice cream.

Recipes with Thermomix and with pots

Here is one of the most popular recipes in my home, easy and not even demanding, just prepare all the ingredients on the table for a quick execution. Organization in the kitchen is EVERYTHING.

This reinterpretation of the classic lasagna is very delicate and tasty, ideal for an alternative dish to the classic recipe, which will certainly be successful. Not only is it tender and tasty, but even the most vegetable resistant children like it.

For the bechamel and pesto I used the Thermomix (easier),

A very good dish also "rested" the next day, to be kept ready for quick meals.

Try it and remember to leave me a comment. Laura

Ingredients for 4 perions

6 sheets of lasagna (fresh or dried)
1 jar of pesto (see recipe in the blog)
abundant bechamel (see recipe in the blog)
1 large potato
1 handful of green beans
1 crescenza (or soft cheese)
flakes of butter
ovenproof dish suitable for lasagna (must not be wider)

Prepare the bechamel.
Prepare the pesto.
Cut the fresh cheese into cubes.

Clean the green beans and cut the potato into medium-thin slices

In a saucepan of salted water, boil the green beans for 7 minutes, then add the potato into fairly thin slices and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.

Without throwing away the water, remove the vegetables and boil the lasagna sheets one by one in the same water for a few seconds.

Ingredients for grandfather's cup

In a saucepan, mix sugar, flour and instant coffee.

Add the milk and the sweetened coffee.

Place on the heat and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, for about 5-10 minutes, until the cream has thickened slightly.

Transfer to a plate with contact film and allow to cool completely.

Whip the cream and gently incorporate it into the cream, perhaps in two stages, with the help of a spatula and with a movement from the bottom upwards.

Wrap in plastic wrap and put in the freezer for a couple of hours before serving your grandfather's cup. I added some coffee beans covered in chocolate! : D
